Question What is meant by one way links?

    Hi,

Can some one explain the complete meaning of this line " Links must be permanent and legit, preferably free of charge, one way, non-reciprocal and static to your website " in detail?

    thank you!

Permanent & Legit: Permanent, so forever, not for one month.
Free of charge: Free, no paid links
One way: You link to their site, but they won't to yours (no backlink)
Non-Reciprocal: I guess that's the same like backlinking, so it's pretty much the same as one way links

You would better wait for some other people to answer this question, as I'm not 100% sure mine are correct. They should be though, but I'm still learning too so

I found that word called " one way link " in one article about techniques in link building but as you said that one way link is " no back link " then link building is not building back links?

A backlink or inbound link is a link to your site. You want to get as many links as you can pointing to your site from as many different domains as you can, but do not want to set up links back to the linking site.

    1. Reciprocal links are believed to cancel each other out.

    2. It is obvious that reciprocal links are not natural links. Google prefers natural links, which are the links typically found within the content on a page. Links in footers and sidebars are not natural links.

hmmm, so you are really dunno about backlink

    one way backlink means backlink is on one way, {from your to another or from another to your site}

and reciprocal link means link exchange :~ if you want backlink then you have need to give link back from your site too.

and three way link exchange mean ::~ imagine you have 2sites {x, y} and i have 1 site {z} so three way link exchange is

you give me link from z site from x site :: x-z
and i will put your link for your another site :: z-y

so google cant understand that we do link exchange

hope this will help you little bit

    One more thing.

Now a days three way link exchange is popular because you can get also quality backlinks by this way and backlinks would be consider as one way links for your site.

Most of services provider or webmasters using this way to provide one way links to his client's sites or his own sites.

    Thanks

To make the things simple -

    - You need backlinks for your website. You can get one way or three way backlinks but most valuable are one way backlinks.

    - Its strictly restricted from G regarding paid links. You cannot buy links from any high rank website.

    - Permanent because you cannot expect increment in PR if the link is deleted after months or years.

One-way links are very effective because they increase your link popularity - the number of pages linking to your site. Search engines such as Google place huge importance on link popularity when ranking your site.

You can also receive direct traffic to your site from people who click on the links.
