Far and away, the leader in that field is SEOBook.
Aaron has moved away from this eBook model and now offers a subscription service which provides you with over one hundred training modules.
Aaron provides a lot of video tutorials, spreadsheets, and tools.
In addition, there is a private forum where you get to talk to people like Aaron and me.
It's $99/mo and it's worth it.
For free, I think NetBuilder is the best place to learn SEO.

In the interim, can I talk you into telling us more about what you're looking for in terms of "SEO training"?
I'm sure we'll be adding more of that in the future, and it would be very good for us to find out what people are looking for.

I'm not sure where to start. But I think I know the basics, like having a good <title> tag and the importance of <h1> tag for page title.
What I would like to know is how to build quality contents, the magic of link building and probably keyword density. Eg. how many keywords can we have in a content, and where to place the relevant keywords, etc.
There should be a lot more I should learn. I'm prepared to spend the next two months doing research and readings on SEO.
PS. I've just started reading SEOChat.com. Is this a good site?
I found Brad Callens' Free SEO Made Easy Ebook very helpful. Along with all the tips provided here on NB gives you a really good jumpstart.

For The Tech FAQ, I have written up a set of FAQ Writing Guidelines, but those are specific to that style of writing and that niche.
Read Link Building Tips.
Read On-Page Optimization.
Read The Complete Story Behind the Fall of SEOChat.
Thanks man! I had forgotten about that one.![]()
