Thread: Where to learn SEO?

    Where to learn SEO?

Is there any websites which provide SEO training for free or at minimal cost?

  2. Far and away, the leader in that field is SEOBook.

Aaron has moved away from this eBook model and now offers a subscription service which provides you with over one hundred training modules.

Aaron provides a lot of video tutorials, spreadsheets, and tools.

In addition, there is a private forum where you get to talk to people like Aaron and me.

    It's $99/mo and it's worth it.

For free, I think NetBuilder is the best place to learn SEO.

We have a great deal of information here. I was thinking again this morning about how to organize it to maximize usability. I think that in six to twelve months, that's going to become a major concern for us.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Can you please share why you think it's worth it?
Need some time to handle deferred joining date by three big IT companies.

If your work is still pending, I'll soon get in touch.

I learn something there every month which raises my income by more than $99/mo.

Thanks Will. I'll subscribe to SEOBook soon.

  7. In the interim, can I talk you into telling us more about what you're looking for in terms of "SEO training"?

I'm sure we'll be adding more of that in the future, and it would be very good for us to find out what people are looking for.

I'm not sure where to start. But I think I know the basics, like having a good <title> tag and the importance of <h1> tag for page title.

What I would like to know is how to build quality contents, the magic of link building and probably keyword density. Eg. how many keywords can we have in a content, and where to place the relevant keywords, etc.

There should be a lot more I should learn. I'm prepared to spend the next two months doing research and readings on SEO.

PS. I've just started reading SEOChat.com. Is this a good site?

This depends, to some extent, upon your niche. In general, the best guideline is "build content that helps your readers."

For The Tech FAQ, I have written up a set of FAQ Writing Guidelines, but those are specific to that style of writing and that niche.
