Yahoo! Answers killed links?

Hi,

Did Yahoo! Answers kill links that we could (ab)use, although they were nofollow? Now, the URI isn't a link, it's just text.

Hmm, I noticed the other day you had to reach "Level 2" to have live links now in the references part of your post. Are you still at the "Level 1" stage for the account you're using?

Yes, Level 1. What needs to be done to get Level 2 ?

You have to answer other questions to get more points...shouldn't take you more than a day or three to do. It should tell you in your Yahoo profile how many more you need.

You get 1-2 points per day for logging in as well. If any of your answers are chosen as the "Best" answer then you get more points as well.

yeah,

yahoo answers killed links in the urls of the answers in the first level it seems. For showing the links we must reach level two by now I think. Level two will be reachable at 130 points

Oh no, you have to spend hours answering questions to score a juicy nofollow profile link.

Yes this step was taken to save them from spammers . You can see that many users from First level start offering yahoo answers links services to webmasters and they keep posting stupid links on many queries . So it better to make one big fullstop on such users and power is gven to second level users .

I have seen on DP forum that many users keep buying yahoo answers link but I don't know what kind of benefit they get from them .

Must be referring to main site which promotes affiliate products .

Oh I see, this is why yesterday when I answered questions at yahoo answers and put my source at the resource box, the link was just like a plain text, unlike many days ago even though your only at the level 1 your link was live. So that was the reason behind, you have to attain level 2 for the links to be live.

Yeah this was the many reason and many users complaint about these links . I know that everyone don't post bad links but I have seen many affiliate or indirect links of yahoo answers . Like if anyone if promoting weight gaining provduct then they will start spamming all queries related to weight problem and keep adding their links in answers .
