In my experience with Yahoo, I have submitted one of my sites to it but they indexed it very slow. My site only got indexed after 6 months. Do you know why?
It rarely happens. I think its impossible. Because generally the site will be indexed within 48 hours if you have submitted it correctly. Also, there are various auto submitter sites and software. I would like to request you to submit via one the site that will submit to major search engine.
It seems to be the consensus on a DigitalPoint Forums thread that if you post your URL to Yahoo! Answers, Yahoo will indexed your site a lot quicker than you'd normally expect.
That's not to say that you should spam your site URL throughout Yahoo! Answers, but if your website is related to a question being asked and can help someone find the answers, then it may be useful.
6 months is a huge time period. I know yahoo is a bit slow but by no means it takes 6 moths for indexing a site submitted to it. There might have been a mistake on your part.

Well, I think it's a mistake on my part. Maybe because I have used a free domain or a sub domain from a free hosting site. But my blog now is already indexed on Yahoo. So no problems now.Quote:

Yeah. You are right. Most webmasters focuses on getting indexed and ranked in Google other than other search engines. I can say when it comes to search engines, Google is still the best one. I can easily find what I am looking for there.Quote:
