My Google! group wants proxies.

Yeah, I got that too the first time I clicked the link. It had a full page interstitial ad, all black background with a red logo and a 'click here to go to proxy'. Then it redirected to smsassembly .com (it's what I see for the company name on the top ad). I can only assume it's the google ad doing weird stuff, there's nothing in the page source. It only did it the first time too. Bloody advertisers. It seems like google's breaking it's own rules by not checking properly or the advertiser's trying to pull a fast one. I've seen google ads expand before from leaderboard with drop downs but this one takes the p!ss.

I've added them to my competative ad filter now so they won't show on my sites.
@GrilledChicken: you might not see them if they're geo targeted, you'd get something else for your part of the world.

I am seeing more and more proxies, that when you go to them?
Noting but one huge ad.
Those proxies?
I do not accept into my proxy lists.

I mean, why make people work to get to use a proxy?
Click close on a full page ad, only to get a popup?

Then there are proxies that to use them, one must fill out a survey?
Bad enough more sites, blogs, and forums have that fill out a survey crap that you have to do if you want to enter the site/blog/forum.

I am the owner of Web Proxy :: Free Anonymous Web Proxy

I only have adsense ads on the site, no pop-ads or anything in the main site. Please check the source code. I cannot reproduce what happened to you. I am of course very unhappy to get on anybodys blacklist

I have put a lot of work into this proxy and money in promoting it. Please reconsider.

It looks like no one else submitted proxies this week. People seem to have an aversion to free advertising

Just reply to this thread and drop your proxy URLs here for free promotion. It's that simple!

That webmasters do not like free advertising....

One would think, that having a proxy site, would mean one would want to advertise that proxy site every where possible that is free.

Same with my proxy lists, hard to get proxy owners to actually submit their proxies.

And forbid that you ask for money!
