Submit your proxy AGAIN to ProxySites.net

Hey everyone. I've recently upgraded the backend of ProxySites.net. I moved away from the atProxy script to something I built myself. The atProxy script is rock solid, but this was more of a programming exercise to learn a new php web framework. It think it turned out great!

I decided it would be a good time to "purge" the list. I wanted to let everyone know that you can submit your proxies there again.

Currently it ranks #1 for proxy sites, and receives thousands of visitors a day. Submitting your proxy to Proxy Sites - The #1 Proxy List will give you a lot of exposure for no cost.

    Thanks,
    -nux

It does look great, and the urls are a lot nicer too. Nice work.

Which framework did you use for this ?

    Thanks for the compliments

I wrote the script on top of the Symfony 1.4 framework (symfony | Web PHP Framework). It took me about 4 days from start to finish (excluding little tweaks here and there that I'm still doing). I'd say the majority of the time was spent learning the framework. But once I got it figured out it was very smooth.

I haven't considered selling the script. I doubt there would be much market for it. "Easy" modifications to the script would be quite difficult for most people, as it's built on a MVC framework, and not your basic file.php and template/file.template.php setup. Without a understand of MVC, it would be a pain.
