Aquarezz at WAR because of Co.CC | Proposing Solution

To all proxy owners including Sir Will:

Don't you think it's time to do something against the Co.CC domain flood? I ask so because I hardy get any hits when the Tech-FAQ is flooded, and I guess you experience the same if you are not continually posting new proxies on the Tech-FAQ list.

From the threads I have seen in this forum I got the impression Sir Will is a believer of the free market so I am not going to suggest quotas.
Rather, similar to (CO2) pollution in Western countries, and, of course, traditional goods the right to post on the Tech-FAQ proxy list could be auctioned.

This proposal accounts for Darwinism among the better proxy owners and will stop the script kiddies. The owner of the list, Sir Will, will likely get more money and can do some good with it if he wants. If Tech-FAQ proxy posting cannibalism continues we ALL lose.

We've asked it a lot already, but as long as the companies aren't doing anything against them, Will won't neither I'm going to do what the quote says:
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
And although that we all can beat them, it's easier to join them in this case

Making a proxy with a .co.cc domain is the most logical solution.
You have no up-front costs. You can virtually make as many domains as you want.

Plus, when your proxy gets blocked - it doesn't matter, because you didn't waste money on a domain.
Everyone needs to stop their stupid attacks on .co.cc proxies and stop trying to get them banned from lists.

How would that benefit the Tech-FAQ site visitors?

How would you auction 30-70 postings per day in a simple and automated fashion?

Wouldn't a similar solution be found simply by raising the prices? (Which, for the record, I am against.)

Why does your thread title start with "Aquarezz at War"? Wouldn't that be "Habaku at War"?

LOL this thread is quite entertaining.

Why do you keep on posting about this, Will said that he isn't going to stop accepting proxies .co.cc proxies. Why ?

Because the Tech-FAQ proxy list is for proxy USERS not proxy owners and their earnings!

    It's not hard to understand.

    Hello Will,

To start with the title: I have been alluding to his thread Get ready for the start people!

An auction is much more flexible than raising the price as it reflects the market almost in realtime. I don't have the code ready, rather my post was food for thought.

Maybe the price increase is the right choice. I have never complaint about co.cc but today got the impression that the list too flooded.

    Regards,
    H.
