This message is a protest against the .cn domains monopoly on Tech-Faq , The .cn proxies ( owner ) don't let you post any proxies because will send another .cn after you , i think the .cn proxies are owned by the same person and i also think it's an abuse, he wants all the traffic.

It's the monopoly of the quantity against the quality.

In less than 24 hours he submitted around 56 .cn proxies , but the .cn domains are not real proxies, are only used to get the traffic and then send them to another .net, .com or .info domains.

I tried 4 of those at random and they all load a proxy on the given domain no redirects

edit saw that if you use the sites they go to proxyfindit.com with a exceeded bandwidth now

However would be nice if an IP could only submit so many within X amount of time. This would mess up proxy submission services though.

I hate the idea of blocking an entire country, even if it is Communist China.

But, to some extent it is a moot point for now. I blocked .cn some time ago and there is a software bug causing the proxy list to ignore my block.

I've got these four blocks in place:

• *.cn
• *.cn/
• *.cn*
• *.*.cn*

These submissions should be blocked -- but they aren't being blocked.

So, we're on hold for a bit until Nathan or Jason has time to take fix this code.

In the last days i saw only 1 .cn proxy owner ( except nux which is new )

Will are these .cn's still blocked? I just picked up around 26 of them I would like to add 2 a day so I can submit them or post them here when I want to add them?

I just unblocked '.cn'.

It seems that our .cn spammer has become bored of the game -- for awhile at least.
