Unfortunatelly the sedo spammer it's still there, probably is using a new ip everytime when is submitting new proxies ( same proxies ).

The part that really confuses me is how this makes him enough money to justify the time and effort he's putting into it.

Currently i saw nr 1 is http://abeja.info/ a parked page, also in top 10 there are another parked domains :

These folks are smart enough not to park their domains until their listings are approved.

It appears that the only solution is user registration and payment.

what about a cron job to check for a link back to your site? Would deactivated the parked ones using this method. Maybe

It's difficult in both situations to keep the list clean, but the paid registration should win because if reported the guy will lose the account, he should pay the fee again if he wants to submit another proxies. Creating the cron job let's say every 30 min will bring another type of spammers, another type of vulnerabilities.

The fee should be high enough to make their spamming efforts useless. I mean not 1 $ .

Along with 4 .net's all using the same email address

Well mate... high... I won't pay (probably not much others too) 5$ for just a submission...
You must know this:
TF gives VERY GOOD traffic in the beginning, but that's it.. I'm not receiving any more traffic after 2 days from TF so...

1$ is the maximum I would pay for such a thing...

But it's stupid it is always about the money... I think there are a lot of other things that can be done instead of the money things...

Could be done on a membership basis instead so pay a yearly, monthly or quarterly fee to have unlimited submissions during this time.

Also even though you dont get traffic after x amount of days the script can be edited to also show the scroll box like the standard listing site.

With the amount of traffic available many possible options putting a simple random proxy button (sample have a couple bugs I need to get resolved) This way they dont select anyone site they could end up at any ones.

I am watching this and thinking of ways to over come this obstacle when my site grows up. As with my layout will be in the same pickle.

Yep.. pay a yearly 25$ or just like economic prices:
1$ for 1 submission
2$ for 3 submissions
Etc.. that would be good...

But that you have to add funds to the account ofcourse, otherwise they will cheat...

And a 'random' proxy thingie would be great ofcourse

But with the paying thingie, I need we have to delete non-working proxies again...

Or not?
