The fellow who submitted those is the most interesting spammer on the list.

He creates proxy sites, submits them, and then parks the domains. It's a lot of work, so he must have it scripted.

I delete his submissions when I'm awake. Nathan is working on a script run the quality checks automatically.

I just deleted those and sixteen other proxies that went down or got parked.

Most of the spammers proberly haven't been doing it for very long and I bet most of the parking companies ban them a few days before payment

They don't need to ban them, their system just auto-ignores the traffic, that's all.

It's basically something like:

if $traffic_referral == "Type In" or "Search Engine" then Pay,
else Ignore
endif

There's ways to blank referrers which I'm pretty sure they are doing... if only coding was that easy

We hit a bit of a snag with the auto-cleaning script.

We're still only cleaning the list when I look at it manually.

I just deleted and banned 22 "proxies", and I generally do that twice a day.

It almost makes me want to turn auto-approval off, but I'd hate to go offline and have the page visitors cut off from their source for fresh proxies.
