My proxy blacklisted on Tech-FAQ

Hello,

Decided to join here because of the email Will sent about support. As it turns out, this place has real potential to be more than just a support forum.

If this thread is in the wrong section, please move it.

I had added my proxies to this list long ago. However, I checked after the email saying that they might have been removed and sure enough, they were gone.

So, yesterday I added 2 back to the list and today, they arent there. SO I decided to list them again and this is what I get:

- This proxy has been blacklisted due to abuse.

Can someone please tell me why this happened?

If you let us know what proxies they were it will help a lot more.

Usually Will only blacklists them if there is something you are doing which he doesn't want.

I'm not sure how they got whacked, but I've unbanned 'em.

Ok, this is strange. After you said that you removed them from the blocked list, I added them again and today I checked again and they were gone. So I tried to add them again and I am getting the same message that they are blocked due to abuse??

Can you help Will?

If they got banned this quickly, it's probably because they got caught in the "very recently submitted proxy that became unavailable almost immediately" filter. Did your host experience any downtime recently?

I've unbanned them again, but if you would PM me right after you submit them again I will check them manually.

Look at the bright side, you're going to be on the front page three times.

Hey... I'm not complaining, believe me. lol. I appreciate you working through this with me. I didn't notice any downtime, but I will tell you... my host is sometimes a problem. It wouldn't surprise me. I will re-re-submit them in a few hours and then PM you.

Also, I forgot to mention that it didn't happen immediately. I checked them for about 6 hours or so and they were there for a while and even got some visits. It was the next morning when I noticed them missing. I hope that I can get in caught in the "don't ban this guy's sites because he is awesome" filter!
