Some idea ;) Don't scrub the list 100%. Ask proxy owner to pay to retain submitted list(eg. $10 for all). Who doesn't pay will be removed/reset from the list. Serious proxy owner sure will pay! You may lose some but you gain quality.

This is very economic than have to re-add proxy(200 proxy = $200).

Wow people are already coming up with other things and we haven't even implemented these updates!

I think Will's plan is to offer these "coupons" so you do not have to pay if you submit quality proxies or post quality here or something to that effect. I'm not sure what his plans on clearing the list will be but running the new spam checking tools could be a start.

I'm really looking forward to this, with my new proxy hosting account I can in theory host unlimited proxies. I tend to add around 20 a month at my current rate, but I'm looking at increasing that, So some type of loyalty scheme would be great :)

I'm still in favour of resetting the list too muwahah!

I think scrubbing the old sites wouldn't be terribly helpful nor would resetting counters as it simply penalises older stable sites that might have been genuinely popular and favors opportunists who would try to take advantage of such a situation should it occur.

Moving forwards though it'll be interesting to see how this evolves and how the coupons work (just joined so haven't got one yet) and whether or not a $1 site listing will actually serve the purpose for which it is intended...

is there any credit system in progress with which we can submit multiple proxies in bulk :p i just bought one listing and seems like if i have to submit 10 then i will have to pay $1 x 10 times :p or please send me the coupon code if i am elegible for it :D
