Is it possible to make a rule like every proxy site listed on tech-faq must have >500 hits before someone can submit another site so that every proxy site has a chance to expose on the top spot.![]()

LOL. That would be nice, but I doubt it. It sucks eh? So many people submitting so many sites. It is not like it used to be, that's for sure.
This is the proxy business... webmasters will just use proxies to get around limits like this. I don't think its worth implementing.
Programmer, web developer and entrepreneur.
Do you really wish to see us all sit in front of our screens and watch 500 hits goes by before we can submit our proxy? What if someone else beats you to it? What if you have multiple proxies to submit? How many more 500 hits are you willing to wait just to submit one proxy? If the proxies are put on a queue, then we have no control over the time it is going to show up.

Ughh... hit numbers on the proxy list are down hard.
It's Summer, proxy webmasters should be reducing the volume of their submissions.
It seems like people aren't catching on to that yet -- I may have to send out a newsletter that says "Quit submitting to The Tech FAQ Proxy List."![]()
Submit Your Webmaster Related Sites to the NB Directory
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
I think the TS means something like:
- It's still possible to submit proxies
- Your proxy will be shown on the FP (front page) once the last submitted one had +500 visits.
So not like sitting there and wait
Well it's true, a lot of proxies are still being submitted, because there is still traffic available and as long as there is traffic, there is money. I might set up some new proxies again in a few days, but that could piss off owners.
But this is proxy business where nobody looks after each other so, it would be best to have the same attitude like them![]()

It appears that the list is being dominated by a certain few who rely solely on Tech-faq for getting traffic to their proxies. So to them it doesn't matter if it's summer. Just an observation.
