    Atomohost Glype 1.1 Theme

I've just finished working on my first Glype 1.1 theme for one of my g/f's domains which has now been converted to a proxy. The theme is ported from a free html template. Hope you all like it.

This finally motivated me to upgrade to Glype 1.1.

I am now running this theme on A Bebo Proxy.

That's half of my mighty proxy empire right now.

You're welcome, I don't have a lot of expertise to share apart from writing and working on themes so if this is my contribution to NB in return for all the great advice I get...

Wonderful, hope it continues to work for you. BTW, when you say half of your mighty proxy empire I'm guessing you've finally seen the error of your ways and decided your way of making money isn't sustainable and the young guns like Aquarezz are teaching you a few new tricks

    The story is this...

I paid a British lad to build me a series of proxy themes. Each theme contained a link to @Proxy. This was a scheme to build links for @Proxy.

Proxy owners complained like mad that there were no demo sites for the themes. Eventually I registered a bunch of domains to demo the themes:

Life went on nicely for awhile, until some moron at Google decided to deindex the last four of those domains. Why? He or she could not understand why I had a site that looked like MySpace which had no purpose other than browsing MySpace. The whole concept was completely above his head, so he banned the four sites that he found.

Worse, he sent the list of domains over to the AdSense department and had them banned from AdSense also.

Somehow the imbecile missed the Bebo proxy, so that one still runs nicely. I dropped PHProxy and the Bebo template went with it. Eventually most of the other domains were unbanned by Google's search department. Unfortunately, they never told the AdSense department that it was OK to unban the domains -- and the AdSense department refuses to take any action on their own.

My one other proxy is just a proxy I built because I thought the domain name would be amusing, surrogafierproxy.com. It's not running Glype.

Quite a story. It's amazing how many people out there have not enough sense to do a good job, or a bad job for that matter.

Yeah, the hard part was learning how Glype themes work and then making sure all pages were styled.
