Free Glype Theme - NeonGamer

NeonGamer is a dark yet clean theme for Glype 1.1 that has a 'gaming' feel to it. It is AdSense-ready, and has spots for text, a newsletter subscription box, more proxy links, and backlinks. It also has a Quick Links menu for popular proxified pages.

License: You are free to use and distribute this template, however you MUST keep the Spyka and UnblockBook links as they are (visible and do-follow).

This doesn't feel like a proxy at all. This looks more like something you'd see on a small gaming clan's website or something, you know?
It's a nice theme, just not something I would personally use.

If that is indeed the case, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Here are some of my theories why

1] Users may not find and start using the URL bar as quickly as in overused themes (Giving them more time to notice the other things on the homepage like ads, mailing list etc)
2] May help bypass user ad-blindness caused by predictability of site elements
3] May help evade (Manual) blocking due to non-proxy like appearance and so on

In my personal opinion, the theme is simple, beautiful and extremely functional.

Interesting take on it, Glypus. I see your points.

What do you think a proxy theme that looks almost like a sales page would perform like? You know, something narrow - with the URL box at or near the bottom. Nothing to distract you from the middle of the page, which is where your advertisements will be...
