Thread: BING: Microsoft's new search engine

So now msn is also entering in the world of search engines.I hope that their search engine should be as good as google is in making searches...

I have read many blog articles regarding BING. But they all said that if they want BING to defeat Google, BING should have a blog search. This is where Microsoft lacks. Well.. I can say it's too early to say since BING is only on the Beta stage so Microsoft can still add more features on it.

Yeah thats true.We can say that Google now has the monopoly in the search engine market.Bing is offcourse a nice try by microsoft,however,what i believe is that today Microsoft as a company really lacks innovation as compared to other rapidly growing companies like Apple,Google.

Anyways lets see how Bing turns out.

Well, it's really too early for Google to relax. Let's wait for quite sometime to know it ranking on Alexa, and if it is even nearer to Google's rank.

I agree with Apache if I'm honest, Bing was a BAD call on Microsoft's part, because their throwing away all the traffic they get from live to start on something new, which, imo, has a worse name.
Live is cool.
Bing is not.

Its early days to say anything about what impact the Newly launched Bing can make on the internet world
and it will take a lot of efforts for Bing to get even closer to the Search Engine Giant Google.
I think a year or two will decide the fate of Bing and we will get some idea about its effectiveness.

Personally i cant stand Bing, i was excited when i heard about (finally something to rival google) but when it launched and i tried it it was terrible, looks like ill be using google for awhile.

I'm always willing to give something new a chance. So I went to the Bing search engine, gave it a try and didn't like it. Thought I'd try it again a day or two later and I still didn't like it. Not sure what it was but I'm just so used to Google that anything else just wouldn't work.

Same here. Google is still more reliable than Bing becuase of the SEO tactics and techniques all to Google, rather than the new one from MSN, which is Bing.
