Bing is off to a good start, but will it last?

Since it's official launch a earlier this month, Bing has managed to nab a full thirteen percent of the paid clicks market share, up a full eight percent from it's official launch date.

That being said, do you feel this is all the novelty of a newly revamped engine and a 100 million dollar marketing campaign, or are this month's captured click statistics here to stay?

    Thoughts?

I'm liking Bing, although it could still do with some improving.

I am aware that they are doing A LOT of advertising both online and offline, I'm curious if the traffic will hold up as they advertise less and less.

I can't seem to get into Bing. I'm a bit concerned about their search results. I'm finding Google and Yahoo results still tend to be a bit more relevant to my queries.

What do you feel could be improved?

I like their improved and relevant Serach results, But i would love to see them crawling faster than google does, on that part they have to improve. On the other side they have managed well to chuck in some nice links as its straight to PR9 now, and that shows their growing popularity.

So far so good, in fact I love them as my traffic jumped quite a bit 'cause of Bing.

Bing is going to kaboom in a few months.

Its just that this is the "new in-thing" right now and MS spending big $$$$ on marketing.

The Big G rules algorithmic search, and no other algorithmic search engine can match up.

The concept of "search" has to completely change for someone to erode G's market share.

I'm definitely seeing more traffic/referrals from Bing than yahoo. Bing is still spammable, though.

Bing will still send traffic as long as they still keep promoting bing.com, as soon as that $100 million runs out I have a feeling the traffic will start fading pretty quickly.

It is now really hard for bing to take Big G. Big already came up with show option stuff to match real time search of Twitter. Big G is now catching each and every area. Just came up with the PR update to catch attention of webmasters.

Not being able to get around a search engine very well I really a lot on Google results but for the first time I searched for a family name on Google and it gave me nothing but garbage results. Made me feel like the bing commercial after looking at almost 80 worthless sites and then said what the heck I will try Bing and on the first page found a website that provided the information I was actually searching for.

Try searching Google for the Family name "Santa Cruz" as a last name and all you will get are results for the city of Santa Cruz and families who live there.

So no matter how i plays for me I still use G as its default search for me but Bing showed it worked for me when I needed something that was related to my search.

On a side note I bet big.com a yahoo search is loving all the typos for bing.com
