Google Instant rolling out today!

Well the big news today is that Google are rolling out their new Instant Search. To learn more go here Google Instant: It Searches Before You Type

Basically, as you are typing, the search results are dynamically changing to predict what you are searching for; you never hit the enter button to search anymore.

I really have no clue how this will affect traffic for certain rankings but it will certainly create a bit of an unpredictable mess!

Hmm I think you are right buddy . It can take away traffic from small webmaster and specially from mis-typo words ....

That is one hundred and twenty percent bad news! I really do not mind waiting the time it takes to hit the button that reads [google search] so long as I can still click on the [i'm feeling lucky] button!

This is certainly gonna have some huge effects on the current estimated search volumes for any given keyword. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Google instant seems more or less the "auto suggestion" that Google has been testing since late 2009. Am I missing something?

those already rank first will get all the benefit .... the rest go for adword

I think you nailed this one, SonnyCool. While Google touts this as a new technological breakthrough (which is it), if it works as it appears and enough people start using it, it will drive users to the most expensive AdWords keywords, which boosts the profits for Google.

These guys should be in politics. It's a win-win for Google. Isn't it great when a well-laid-out plan comes together?
