The sandox looks more or less like the regular results.

Doesn't seem to be any difference other than the sandox is probably a newer build of the regular index.

One more example is games.com. They keyword 'games' is a very highly competed keyword, and games.com looses a couple positions on the new algorithm.

That's very odd, because other people are reporting that the exact match domain bonus is more signficant in the new algorithm.

My average rank in Google-current is 6.35, while my average rank in Google-Caffiene is 4.65.

If this holds true, Google Caffiene should significantly improve my traffic and earnings.

Have you looked at the exact match domain bonus during your tests? Is the bonus higher or lower than it is now?

I have been reading people say that the exact match bonus is stronger in Caffeine, but that's not what I'm seeing.

I am seeing a noticeable drop in the exact match bonus, although my sample size is small because those tests must currently be done manually.

I'll do more testing when AdvancedWebRanking released a search engine module for Caffeine.

It looks like I'm seeing drops for certain "authority" sites like About.com and CNET. That's pretty much the opposite of what other analysts are saying.

It turns out that AdvancedWebRanking does have a module for Caffeine; I just didn't see it.

Of the list of my exact match domains which I am tracking:

Top 50

• Google-Current ranks 73
• Google Caffeine ranks 48

Top 10

• Google-Current ranks 41
• Google Caffeine ranks 16

Top 5

• Google-Current ranks 9
• Google Caffeine ranks 2

This doesn't look good for exact match domains, but there may be another explanation. My exact match domains are fairly new and perhaps the beta Google-Caffeiene is using a slightly older database.

According to Matt Cutts, Caffeine isn't a radically new ranking engine. "This update is primarily under the hood: we’re rewriting the foundation of some of our infrastructure."

I am seeing slight differences with Caffeine, but nothing huge. The biggest issue that I see is that the queries are almost twice as fast. Some others are seeing less emphasis placed on videos.
