Google to Launch a New Version of Google Search

Google searching is already very fast, but if they could double the speed and half the overall resource load, it would be worthwhile.

You always need to read between the lines with MC. After all, he is G's PR guy, which makes him kind of like a White House spokesperson.

Possible. I have a few sites that are doing better and the anchor could be the reason.

One of my sites will drop from page 9 to page 30, has no exact anchor for that keyword.

If this year follows patterns of the past, they will do it at the start of the Christmas shopping season -- the worst time possible for online marketers.

Aren't they doing it in installments, I was of the impression that 'Caffeine's' Algorithms will be added to the current Google's in parts rather than at one shot. I never said you deny that but how far is this true and how long is the process expected to take.
I doubt Google would reveal any such info but just incase they have.

As far as the changes in rankings on the SERPs are concerned, i had written an article quite some time back regarding preferences by the new algorithm, wikipedia loosing its prestige on the SERPs and so on.
