    Google Plus affects Image Search

Google Plus alters the landscape of Google Image search , and to me it seems as if it actually makes image search results less relevant.

I'm not sure how image search plays into everyone's SEO, it's probably for niche sites, but for things like personal branding and reputation this is noteworthy.

You had mentioned in another thread that Google +1 is a "social bubble". I just noticed something else the other day Google Related where a search bar pops up at the bottom of the page. It appears to be an extension of the Google toolbar. So, even when you are at a website you don't leave the bubble.

I'm not sure that was me who said it, but that's interesting, and I'm not so keen on giving Google that much leverage. The whole issue over real names cooled me off of Google+ pretty quickly, and as I just wrote, I don't think it should be the one to overtake Facebook or come anywhere close for that matter..

On one hand Google doesn't have a complete social site like facebook. There's plenty of pieces. But pieces don't make a whole product.

On the other hand, Google can leverage +1 to impact the SERPs and fight webspam. Webmasters and Business Owners then would recruit their circle of friends into +1.
