I don't do article marketing anymore because you've got traffic for a short period of time and I don't like to syndicate my articles as many are re-worked and used for other related sites. Beside that it is more difficult to claim copyrighted work infrigments though DMCA.

I have one Squido lense page so far and perhaps I need to develop some more. As far as a blogspot, I use it for announcements only.

You could outsource the articles to service providers in the NB marketplace. The traffic may be shortlived but you can pick-up lots of backlinks. Since the content is inexpensive it shouldn't be so much of a bother that a little gets stolen now and then.

That's an idea, but the articles are pretty good and I don't really need a lot of backlinks, most of them are ranking high and generate traffic.

It is just time consuming to check who use the articles properly (link back to the source) and the others.

Many sites use part of my articles, services like copyscape don't catch them.
The other day I had one article duplicated 237 times, just to give you an idea. Much more than a little gets stolen now and then, that's why I am trying to avoid distribution of my articles.

i think you have to chose your keyword less competitive and high search volume..this is good for get rank quickly....if your keyword not showing goog position ..you have to work hard on it.

I recently updated my index and I am in the middle of new tests.

@David08 Sometime is not a question of new keywords but rather the placement of keywords. You don't want to target less competitive keywords that do not reflect what you do, and you have to be careful not to diluate the power of keywords.

I recently read an article about the trend of keywords search which can fade overtime. People searching for a specific keywords bringing traffic maybe good last year and not as good this year.

I mean there are so many theories about how keywords work that you have to take a scientific approach.

I understand where you are coming from. I am in the same boat kind of. I neglected my site for soome time and competitors took over. I am not in the process of building links again and it is working very slowly.

Thank you, yes it is more or less in the 4th position after I worked hard on it

It is not easy to target because there are a lot of competitors. Once again anything is possible.
