    Google Rankings

I would like to know what I am doing wrong to rank badly for my main keyphrase. I know that it is a pretty broad question, and it seems like I am not doing great.

    Thank you

Someone will only be able to answer that when you provide the keyword and the page you are trying to get ranked for that keyword.

It would help if you could share the keyword and a little more info about what you've done so far, including your domain name.

    EDIT

    (Snak3 was faster )

Ok, done with my analysis. I have to admit that the amount of SEO done on that website alongwith the investment is really impressive.
    1) Your on-page Seo for 'bath and body products' is perfect considering the keyword density and placement within the 'b' tag, <h1>/<h2> tags, title, meta keywords/description, body.

    2) Your Domain age and length of extension is perfect too and i see no reason for you being in the sandbox.

    3) Your page has 8,481 backlinks, many of which are niche specific and pretty strong ones too.

    4) Link diversity is pretty good, site is Dmoz listed and is also in the Yahoo directory.

You're currently ranked on the 15th spot for that keyword i guess. The only thing i see you lack is that you don't have your keyword in your URL and considering how much you've invested in your site, i don't think it would be smart to build a new one on a better domain.
I suggest you keep building more links, try to acquire links from your competitors if possible and so also check their backlinks and try to acquire them if possible.
I didn't have time to analyse your competitors' edge over you so i leave it on you.
    Good Luck.

You need to need to get relevant backlinks with "Bath and Body Products" as the anchor text. The next step is to make sure that you align your H tags, alt tags, title, strong, em and other seo factors to the anchor text that you target.

should it be Natural Elements? and not "bath and body products" as his anchor text?

The anchor text should be the keyword that you are targeting.

I wouldn't create a second site. It will be easier to rank your current site for "bath and beauty products" than creating a new one.

To rank on the keyword, you will need links with"bath and beauty products" in the anchor text. Remember that it isn't only about quanity but quality. Relevant Links from sites that already rank for "bath and beauty products" or that are in same niche will help the most.

Also, have you tried article marketing and creating pages to support your site like squido lense, hubpages, blogspot etc

Additionally, do you have a company blog?

I don't do article marketing anymore because you've got traffic for a short period of time and I don't like to syndicate my articles as many are re-worked and used for other related sites. Beside that it is more difficult to claim copyrighted work infrigments though DMCA.

I have one Squido lense page so far and perhaps I need to develop some more. As far as a blogspot, I use it for announcements only.

    Thanks Bogart
