For search i always use google but to see backlinks i use Yahoo site explorer.

I like neither, but the recent acquisition of Yahoo Search by Microsoft signals some great things to come in the online search world, not only limited to Yahoo/Bing, but also how Google approaches this merger.

I did a series of tests a couple of years ago and Yahoo was returning the most relevant search results. Google was pretty close. MSN trailed in third.

I haven't been happy with the results from the searches I've done on Bing, but I have not done any rigorous scientific testing with it. I'd love to find the time to get that done again!

Yahoo now gave the poorest results. I dont like them at all.
