Interesting to see they will go from 59 percent to 48 percent voting power, under 50 means they will have no final control? Any thoughts on this? It seems that they have gone under the 50 level so they must be desperate.

Google's chief executive, Eric Schmidt, holds 10 percent voting power. So between the three, they still hold control.

In many major corporations, people holding as little as 10% are able to excercise control. At least until a hostile takeover comes along.

Bill Gates sells shares of Microsoft on a regular basis. But he owns over 700 million shares. Bill Gates net worth is estimated at $50 billion.

They are talking about billions like we talk about dollars, it seems like they live in a very special world.

Another thing to consider is that the Bush tax cuts are set to expire in 2011.

    U.S. dollar = 6.82677735 Chinese yuan

They probaby have a bijillion dollars over there. At some point the Yuan will go to 4 to the dollar and they will have 2 bijillion.

Funny thing about the coke and hamburger. Sound like Warren Buffet. He's more than happy to go out for a hamburger driving his 9 year old car. He only makes the cash, because he can. I read someone where he gave Bill Gates charity like a billion dollars.

    I find this interesting,

Page and Brin each currently have about $16 billion of their fortunes tied up in Google stock. By their own choice, their annual salary at Google is just $1.
