    Microsoft Skewers Google

MSN featured an amusing article today about a second round of layoffs and more cost cutting at Google.

Google focuses on cost cutting, lays off 200 mainly focuses on the loss of 200 sales and marketing positions, but it also lists some other divisions of Google which are being closed down:
    • Google Radio Advertising
    • Google Print Advertising
    • Google Catalog Search
    • Dodgeball
    • Google Lively

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Global recession is starting to affect Google too. I didn't even know that Google had a divison for Radio Advertising.

You get what you reap - it has happened before - good to see the recession is cutting down the dictators too!
