Thread: Nofollow.. WTF??

Have the terms and conditions regarding search engines' rule of not following nofollow links changed or am i just misinformed??

I've been noticing since quite long that Yahoo siteexplorer shows 'nofollow' links as backlinks??

This is not the only place, i have seen this at many places. I have a habit of checking the backlinks of every site having the same niche as mine, to my surprise many a times these links are nofollow.

Any comments?

Yahoo! Site Explorer shows all links, nofollow included. Even GWT shows nofollow links. What we don't know for sure is which links actually count when it comes to SERPs.

Was unaware about Yahoo explorer showing all links.

I recently read an article a couple of weeks back about google reconsidering an opinion about nofollow, and having made some changes to its algorithm as to how nofollow links will be interpreted. Can't recollect where the article was located

Any more comments and views about nofollow/nofollow backlinks/link juice,etc.? Thanks.
