I don't believe that the PR update has anything to do with the keyword ranking placement. I've been noticing some flux in the search ranking about 5 days before the PR update. Seems that there was a data refresh.

Hi,

I have noticed that for the last two years I have been online. It is almost like if you know it is coming get a bunch of new info on your site in that time if the spiders find the new info I think it helps the pr.
