    Personalized Search Is Now Default Google Search Option

    Today we're helping people get better search results by extending Personalized Search to signed-out users worldwide

    This may change search as we now know it! Basically, Personalized Search changes the search engine ranking position based on search history.

    Exactly, so this new Personalized search by Google can officially screw our SEO efforts royally. I don't think its a wise decision on Google's part to introduce this as they'll be providing search results merely on the basis of 'prediction' by 'predicting' what we may be expecting on the basis of previous searches.
    It can also bring up the problem of displaying the same results time and again for similar queries.

    Use &pws=0 at the end of the Google search url to switch personal search option to off.

    They had to do something before the holidays You're correct that this will make SEO more difficult when it comes to Google.
