It is not unususal to see lots of links from Russian sites and porn sites show up in AwStats. That is mostly referrer spam. You will not find links to your site on most of those pages.

Then again, Big Brother is watching us more than ever before. I'm almost finished re-reading George Orwell's book 1984. It is amazing how much of that has come true.

Did read something a bit back on how some sites (again, porn and russian mostly) have many people who only go from their site to another site.
In hopes that someone checking their stats will click on their site links to check out where those links are coming from.

Wonder how long it will be before someone starts selling a service like that?
We will get your links into the web stats of pr9 sites, blah blah blah.

I can see monitoring these accounts for political reasons. It makes it easy to get something on someone. Anthony Weiner was posting all kinds of photos on his Twitter account and most likely General Petraeus had a gmail account.

But a lot of conservative bloggers get a lot of visits from a lot of different government agencies.
So our government keeps track of us.
Yes and here's some of the keywords the use:

DHS, FBI, DOJ, etal could care less about those so-called words.
They just check out blogs that say anything about buck ofama, the left, the liberals, and so forth.
Go to one conservative blog, get all the other conservative blogs in the sidebar, and go to those.
    Then rinse and repeat.

Now the word is, blogs outside the USA get the most visits!

Community organizers probably supply them with a list of websites to target.
