    Will yahoo follow Microsoft ?

Microsoft has launched its new decision search engine named Bing though it has utterly failed to perform accordingly. But still it helps to clutch headlines for few days and get feedbacks. What do you think will Yahoo opt for a new search engine in coming days? Share you thoughts.

I hope yahoo amd msft join forces to fight Google's monopoly on search. More competition there would be better for all of us webmasters!

Many times when two halves are put together, the result is not a whole. I don't believe that a Yahoo partnership will be beneficial for msft.

In my opinion Yahoo created the current situation where Google is the 800lb gorilla of search. Yahoo bought up most of the major players including altavista.com, alltheweb, overture, geocities and inkomi and at the same time owned 8.4 million shares of Google as of 9 August 2004, ten days before the Gppgle IPO.

Just went there and did some searches for fun and you know what? It's actually not that bad. In fact similar results to Google and rather relevant. Maybe Google is just overrated?
