That was in fact an enlightening post always thought they were over paid, under worked, played too much on the fireman poles and slides along with the awesome cafeterias and cafes.
Are shoemoney and techcrunch owned by the same person? As they both have the exact same post on the same day.

It sounds as if the former employees need a pacifier. Many jobs are what each individual person make of them.

I didn't read all, but did he add the positive mails too? It seems that there are only negative ones.. Which is also normal, if you're fired, you're only willing to describe the bad things about the company, not the benefits...

Seems about right, if you get greedy and leave (in hope of higher wages or hope of a better environment) you'll get screwed.
It definitely changes my view of Google being a cool place to work.

Amazing, and it's true what he says about these design futilities, but the problem is.. If something changed and it's wrong, the hole e-Google is burning. Remember when they changed favicon? Or when all sites were marked as 'dangerous'?
So that could be the same thing if colors were changed, we repainted our house a lot - inside - (well we chose colors and a painter did it for us) and sometimes we said this color is good.. But than the painter gave us a lot of other combinations from that color and in fact because of all those different sorts of colors, we had been lucky we didn't choose between the 3 colors he gave us first.
So yes, discussions about colors are important, it doesn't matter a lot if only friends of us see it, but it does matter if the hole world (well everybody using Google) has to look at it everyday

Well, I have read this post earlier. I don't think Google is a bad place to work. I know I won't be getting a chance to work there ( at least now ). Things posted there might be true. Sometimes, they might have already earned much and might be willing to rest a bit.
