The design is good but not great. The quality of your articles is stellar though. Content is key so you have the most important part realized.

Yes, this text is called anchor text. It is very very helpful for Seo. This is the reason that article marketing is so important for Seo.

Hm, I would say three at the most. The keywords should also be pretty similar. If you target to many keywords that differ from each other, Google will think you are a scammer.
