I've designed my last two/three themes. I found that custom designs generally makes your blog stand out from the crowd.
Also, as someone else said before, it's a learning experience. You can...
Until now, the only Thesis blog that looks really good to me is Blogussion. It's so heavily customized that it doesn't have the Thesis-feeling when you look at it. The rest of the Thesis-based blogs...
1) Back in the early days of my blog, I wrote an article about this so instead of telling you my opinion, why don't you go and read my post? :P This is the link, in case you're interested: Monetizing...
Log in into wp-admin, then go to Settings > Reading and set "For each article in a feed, show" to "Full text". Can't get any easier than this ;)
Question: why use PHP "hacks" when you can use manual excerpts? Excerpt « WordPress Codex

Don't get me wrong, Google is a giant and provides a lot of great...

Hey, we've got a rapper here xD Thanks Gloson!
Thanks mate, you will :)
Hey, that's nice of you :) Thanks!
Thanks, Corey!
I like what I've seen so far. However, I agree with Corey: links need to stand out.
Also, limiting the amount of lines in signatures would be a good idea.
About post-padding... I've been here...
