The best idea is to do it on something you a passionate about and something you have vast amount of knowledge about.
A good admin for me is someone who listens to their members and consults them aswell, alwyas active on their site and try to make thier site as unique and good as it can be alaways looking to improve...

I dont know coding very well but the other admins on manutdbuzz know coding one works in the buisness so he can code in minutes what it takes the other admin a few hours to do.
we got 6 at manutdbuzz and it works great for us to be honest we dont have one problem at all over there with staff.
A load of people look down on new forums when a place is in need of some support they rather snigger at how much more active their places are.

I think to make a forum run sufficient to the best of your ability I would run one and one only as that way you can put all your work in to making that forum work to its potential.
