My biggest mistake was using a free forum host in my opinion.



Especially as my forum is really big now, and they try to rip me off when i try to take it away from the host.

I'd have to say SMF, i hate it!

I made my first forum in May of last year when i was 11. :P



But i've been using forums since i was 6.

I post my link on other fan pages sometimes, never worked for me really though.

I'm always on forums, i put my link in my signature and post as much as i can to get it noticed.

Been open since September 20th 2009, but was closed from early January to mid March.

I login to my ACP many times every day, and i also know it like the back of my hand. I could find a user in my ACP with my eyes closed, seriously....

Normally once a month, occasionally we might do 2 in a month but that&#39;s quite rare.

It&#39;s different for everyone, but currently at my 16,100 post forum with 185 members we have 2 admins. We may hire a Mod soon, after that we&#39;ll have enough to last us a while.

We occasionally get the odd bit of spam, but when we do it&#39;s dealt with in minutes. We almost always have at least one staff member online.

I don&#39;t have Admin Activation, and never will, i know the feeling when you have to wait days to be activated.
