Thread: Need small PHP program written

I want a PHP program developed that:

• Takes the following inputs from a data file:
  
  • A URL
  • A Description
  • A vBulletin member name
• Retrieves the number of posts for each vBulletin member from the MySQL database
• Output a semi-random URL/Description pair, where vBulletin members with more posts are more likely to have their URL/Description pair chosen.

I've deployed a "Proof of Concept" type of implementation. It's in JavaScript, there are only four test members, and all of them have the same weight.

The ads currently display at the top of every forum display page.

I'm only seein' two different links.

Looks pretty good! But how will all those users add their websites? And their description etc? Or will that be implemented in the user CP?

In v1 I will do it manually. In later revisions we will do more vBulletin integration.
