    Is all this happening with PayPal globally or just on a local level? Most European paypal accounts are of PayPal Luxembourg which has an official bank status. I had just a couple small issues in the past and they replied within 24 hrs to my email. Then like a day or so later another email from them follows asking for customer feedback about the reply the sent earlier. Actually they did no read my mail carefully but it seems a whole lot different from your experience. Maybe I was just 'lucky' or perhaps they operate independently.

    I've had the same experience, the staff in their Luxembourg office usually answer an email or support query within a few hours, although I sometimes feel like they have people working for them who speak many languages but don't always understand everything. These days I break everything down into very short sentences.

  3. Everyone I'm dealing with is in the U.S. The one person I asked what time it was indicated that they were in the Central time zone.

    Magically, without complying with their ridiculous demands, PayPal unlimited my account again.

    I called PayPal customer service and the customer service rep said she would fix my problem right up and she transferred me to the Account Review Department. The Account Review department unlimited my account and unblocked all of my blocked transactions.

    Earlier, they told me that their telephone system did not allow them to transer customers to the Account Review department. We now have proof that this was a lie.

    The Account Review department sent me this confirmation email:

    Dear Free Internet Media,

    Our review is complete and we have restored your account.

    We appreciate your patience and thank you for your help in making PayPal the safest and most trusted online payment solution.

    John
    PayPal Account Review

    Please do not reply to this email. This mailbox is not monitored and you will not receive a response. For assistance, log in to your PayPal account and click the Help link in the top right corner of any PayPal page.

    I think one of the secrets here is that no one actually reads the faxes. You can fax them anything and their system will just check off the "we've received his fax" button.

    There definitely need to be more and better competitors in this field.

  5. I am hearing a lot of bad reviews about Paypal off-late. The only thing that can make them better their services and more responsible towards customer is --- a solid competitor. .

    Will, why don't you start a Paypal like company?

    PayPal Customer service does not deserve to be called a customer service. They are the most stupid People I've ever called online. While talking to them their representative (So called agents) get confused very easily and don't know what to answer and they keep on telling you stupid things (You already know) wasting your time.

    This could be possible. Now you gave me an idea and I'll soon be testing this and if it worked I'll let you all know
