My articles on ezine are dofollow. Looks like a 'expertise slap' on accounts that have articles in a lot of different niches i.e. brain surgery, dui attorney and auto mechanic.

All I know is that none of my +100 plus articles on ezinearticles have the nofollow tag on them, new or old. I also have a very distinct mix of articles, having written many of them myself, with a good portion of them being spun from existing articles, and a handful of them being 100% duplicate content from other websites.
I picked out an example article for each of those categories to make my analysis and none of them have the nofollow tag. Perhaps ezinearticles will do so in the future, but I think they won't as the repercussions of such a drastic and massive change may be even more devastating to them.
I wonder if it will still have such a big appeal for people writing content for the directory id its no-follow.
