so... I will surely avoid this technique... I am also thinking about optimising each page to a certain keywords... however I haven't fully understand it... what exactly should I do?

  3. #33
I'd highly suggest you to do that. I've noticed many webmasters doing the same and getting tons of traffic because their website rank on many keywords not 1 or 2 keywords only.

Link schemes are against Google Webmaster Guidelines.

Violation of Google's webmaster guidelines can negatively impact your site's ranking in search results. This means that your site may be penalized or banned.

Aahh... seems there's a bit of miss communication here..

I thought I may receive a penalty should Google crackdown if I optimized each page to a specific keywords.

I am not going to start a link schemes since I don't even understand it and more over it's against Google's webmaster guidelines, so I won't do that.

Right now I am optimising each page to a specific keywords, still looking for some forum posters (the one I had a deal with suddenly dissapear for more than a week now, so I am open to a new offer), also I have just post a new thread looking for some social book markers, if you interested please have a look.

    Hello budhi1976:

bogart's right, there are a lot of things you can do that can harm it. First you must read the guideline of google to know it an examples are spamming, keyword stuffing, link farming.
