Default Appraise My Site!

Out of curiosity, I am looking to get an idea of what someone might pay for my make money online blog. (I'm not selling it! Just wondering.)

It currently has 26 unique posts. They are all high-quality and pretty long.

Alexa Ranking: 217,974
Google Page Rank: 2

The domain 'runningonlinebusiness.com' is keyword rich and receives a lot of traffic from keywords related to the title alone. I don't have an accurate amount of data on traffic at the moment since I switched servers and didn't bring the data along with me.

So far I've managed to get thousands of backlinks for the site and have been promoting it to the best of my ability. It ranks very highly on all sorts of website analyzers, for example:

95/100 http://websitegrader.com/site/www.runningonlinebusiness.com
(I expect the 95 to increase after the data is refreshed.)
SEO Score: 97% - whois.domaintools.com

Twitter Account:
http://twitter.com/runonlinebiz - 708 Followers

CubeStat says:
Website Worth: $10,047.72 (By the way, I do realize this is not accurate.)
Daily Pageviews: 4,588
Daily Ads Revenue: $13.76 (I cannot confirm as I display zero advertisements.)

YourWebsiteValue says:
$6,535 (By the way, I do realize this is not accurate.)

All-in-all, it's a relatively new site and I have been investing tons of effort into making it as great as I can.
Countless hours have been spent on SEO configuration, content, linkbuilding and more. There is still a long way to go.

Anyway - that's about it. Let me know what you think.

Your site looks very nice but a featured content gallery would help a lot ;D also try to include more images and don't get off topic

that will make visitors think you have run out of topics.

I must admit the template is very nice and when I see it I feel like staying but it has nothing to do with the niche you should change it to an elegant one with space for more features.

I would pay low xxx$ because you have worked a lot on it but that is just me I'm not interested in blogs but I'm sure someone would pay a higher price for it

What do you mean by a featured content gallery, Ruben? Could you explain?

And thanks - I try to stay on topic as much as possible. I wrote the H1N1 post because of an e-mail I got about the flu and decided that if you want to run a successful online business you need to be healthy! :P

Look at this theme , you see "Feature News" that displays selected blog posts?? that is a featured content gallery..its mostly intergrated with themes these days..

even I feel the outlook of the site is not actually Business/Entrepreneurship oriented..the font size and the layout are mismatched..

check out themes from web2feel.com Jinsona Themes and WP Spider - Free Wordpress Blog Themes

On the appraisal part, It largely depends on traffic and revenue...

for 26 articles, it can be priced at $100. And as far promotion is concerned, I see 4k backlinks..thats good..so add $50..but i see most BLs from tadkashadka.com which is now dead and redirecting to other site..so deduct $30..

Final price: $120...my assessment..

I liked the Arras theme for featuring content:
WordPress › Arras Theme Free WordPress Themes
I quit using it mainly due to not having the time to research photos I could use for free for every post. You have to format the photos you use in a sepcific size to display properly, but it did the trick for doing featured content.

Cheers,
James

These seem like very strange themes for the make money online niche, though.

BlueDiamond wp theme | SkinPress.com
- This one seemed a bit dark. Almost like people would have a hard time reading it.

BlackPower theme | SkinPress.com
- This one I am really liking, though. It looks a bit more professional than the one I have.

What do you think of these? I found them on the site you linked:
WordPress Theme Designer » Techy Box Theme
WordPress Theme Designer » BlogStarter Theme

Sorry. I'm not really that great with themes. I'm not sure what looks good for my niche!

Well, the other thing you could do is maintain your current theme and do one of the following:
1 - Make a static page to display on load of your main URL (Wordpress -> reading option I think to select)
2 - Or even simpler, reduce the number of posts that show up so they don't scroll down past your sidebar info

For the "Content Featuring" type of themes, you would feature via category for folks who land on your main page, so you'd probably want to select the cats that have the "most views" in your current status, or once you monetize, the cats that get the most money (whether adsense, cpa, etc).

Be careful though, once you start mucking with themes, it sucks your life (er time) away!!!
Cheers,
James
