Other than the top menu being a bit funky right now, how do you think we can improve the site?

It looks nice, but I'd change a few things myself.

1. You need a cool creative header/logo
2. Top navigation bar looks indeed a bit weird
3. I'd get rid of the blue background, it's a bit hard on eyes
4. Change the search function - use a Google custom search or an Adsense one
5. Posted by xxxxx in xxxxxxx, xxxxxx on 04 14th, 2009 | No Comments <- Get rid of this to make it look more like a static site, at least remove it from homepage
6. Force text ads on your right-top corner

I like the concept for the site. The word "best" is included in a lot of searches. My domains that include the word best get nice traffic.

The top logo does need a new design. It is too contrasty, is hard on the eyes and hard to read.

I agree with Shenron about the Google image ads and about posting the dates on the home page. I also remove dates from my articles.

Are you planning to post user comments, or are you just using it to invite people to participate, which means they are likely to return to see if their comments were approved? I have comments disabled on most of my blogs, but I do see a lot more repeat traffic on the blogs where I allow comments.

Indeed the top navigation bar acts funny, when I hover over it the other menus starts moving (Ubuntu/FF3)

Yes that is the problem now in all browser since there is to many categories and they cant fit to the top menu. We can change them to drop down menus or I will think something.

Adsense search bar is great suggestion.

That suggestion for removing posted thing is also great.

I am waiting Wills blessing to do the suggested changes

Do you guys have any estimations how much revenue this site generates in a month? When it has been fully functional for some time. Lets say after 6 months. What is your goal in revenue? What about traffic? And how are you going to monetize the site?

I'm just curious.

Rut roh... I thought that All-in-One-SEO was converting those. I must have confused that with one of the SEO packages we're using for Drupal or Joomla.

I am not sure what is the problem with h2, we had used wrong h2 only for titles

frontpage has one h1 it is the name of site
and h2 for titles of post entries
when you go to post entry then title of the post become h1

The site is just now going up.

There are 159 content pages planned for this site. I use $20/page as a rough planning cost for site development, content development, and promotion. That gives a total estimated cost of $3,180.

To pay it's initial costs in 18 months, the site will have to earn an average of $5.88/day. That's the goal.

Monetization plans right now are heavily focused on AdSense. We might test Kontera or Infolinks on this site in the future.
