The script is good , and the idea is great

but my advice for adsense is to add your site to the competitive ads filter in adsense control panel as all the ads shown is your adwords ads , so you loose money when it's clicked

I like the header graphic. Putting header text above it might help you with SEO, but might look tacky. The ad placement is out of the way and not in an annoying spot, which is good.
