Hi,

I just got this done almost

New layout for the site. I did not make the layout, I had it made for me.

Jessica Biel Fan Site

What are your thoughts on it so far?

Any ideas or changes that you would make?

I would have your designer fix the fact that where the girl's hair meets the navbar, it looks very pixelated and choppy. Furthermore, I would delete that 'Web Design by Nick Edwards' thing from the footer. It's an unnecessary outgoing link that you don't need to have present. Otherwise, the site is everything it needs to be.

I can work on the pic and soften the edges so it don't look so pixelated and choppy.

As far as the 'Web Design by Nick Edwards' that must stay. I get a really good deal from him for the work he does for my site and that link is part of the deal on all sites that he works on for me. Small price to pay for the $$$ he has saved me.

As for the pic, the problem I faced was whether to export as a PNG (large file size but with better quality - the edges wouldn't be like that, but it's not what web designers call "web safe") or export as a GIF (smaller file size - about 40-50% of the PNG) and just accept the pixelated edges.

If you like I'll export it as a PNG and upload that, but as I say it's about twice the filesize of the gif (so would slow down the load time - fairly significantly for those on slower connections).

No leave it as is. I'll try a blur in adobe. Just to see if I can soften the top edge. Without adding huge weight to the picture.
