Thread: The new TmzHosting :) | Comments needed!! Free hosting for comments!

Hey guys,

Usually I don't like showing our new layouts before they are actually live, but this time I want comments on what you like, what you think should be changed etc..

It doesn't matter if the comment is good or bad we want to hear it so we can improve it!!

You might see tmzhosting.com in the background thats just a watermark. Our official tmzhosting logo will be put in the header we are not going to be using that one.

I don't quite like the Online/Offline icon for the Live Support.

The gradient below the navigation bar can be improved.

What's the reason for the change of logo? The current one looks good.

The cartoon guy, I believe, can be downloaded from some websites. I think getting a professional illustrator to draw a unique character will add more value to your site. You may want to take a look at this.

For the sub page, I would spice up the page with some nice stock photos relevant to each pages. By the way, whats the mouse icon there for?

Thank you for the comments! We were thinking of getting our own mascot but there really is no point as our name is not like hostgator or hawkhost..

The cartoon guy in the homepage is going to be very common..he's been used in many youtube video donwload templates and proxy templates..

Dropdown is good..but do I see the cartoon guy pointing his finger up???

Plans:
Looking good. But i hope you are gonna add more details to the plans.

Sub Pge:
The box of 30-day money back is not required here, I think. This page looks too dry. you can include stock images which have blue, green and red in them.


few tips:
A logo will be good.the current template is without a logo.

Instead of "Live Support", you can have an Icon.
I took it from google images but you can make it a lot better.

Get yor own mascot. Name him something like "TMZboy"(will make you look bit amateurish though) or "TMZguy". or have something like "TMZteam". Brand yourself.


EDIT: If you guys have an office then get your photos clicked inside it and put it in the About Us page. You will gain more customer trust when you show your real faces.

Main Page:

Agreed about the cartoon guy, get rid of him, change it to something unique if you really want "someone" there holding the sign.

(applies to all pages) Center the navigation links and put a little line to the left of 'home' like on the right. It seems too left focused as is, with all that space on the right. Centered would look best.

Dropdown:

Love it!

Plans Page:

Of course add more details about the plans, other than that, I like it.

Sub Page:

This looks like your about page? Get rid of the guarantee box there, I feel it's unneeded, maybe add some secondary information, such as datacenter tour/info, why choose you, testimonials, etc.

I don't think Daniel still needs it as I saw he was selling the template somewhere..

Yes, we sold this layout. We have something else in mind and this one was just too small. But with these comments we know what to do on the next one .
