I have never heard of any ind of trojan that could possibly keep you from closing a tab.

It must have been a bug in IE7. I have checked for the behavior which javascript "bugs"(Virus/trojan/whatever) usually has. I can't reproduce the behavior you talk about.

I rode on some forum, that someone had problems with browser tabs on IE. So, this probably is a bug. Though, this is just speculatio. I haven't experienced it myself. (Probably because I use Firefox. :D) But I see if I can find the forum and the post. :D
