Great idea. I think you can definitely monetize this!



Overall, I like the colors you've chosen, they're just too close when utilized together in the grand scheme of things. The layout is also just a bit blocky, but that's easy to fix.

1. Consider using a smaller and less blocky font. Verdana, Arial, and Helvetica will all do well in a smaller size but tend to look blocky when enlarged.
2. Consider using a contrasting background since your header and center scheme are blue.
3. I can definitely see where you were going with that top blue menu, but it's difficult to see.
   
   
   
   • Use a smaller font for the menu.
   • Center the menu.
   • Use more contrasting colors. For example, if you keep the bar dark blue, make the text white so it's easier to read.
   Love the smiley face! Those always make me smile.
   
   
4. Decrease the size of the font in the paragraph text.
5. Left justify the paragraph text.
6. The Sign up now button is a bit large. Can you shrink it a bit?
7. Decrease the font on the copyright text and push it down a bit more.
8. Your signup page looks fine overall.
9. Move your features text a bit to the right so it isn't hugging the border.
10. Left justify and pull the text in a bit on your TOS page as well.
11. Move the last modified line to the bottom of the TOS page.

The text is well written and succinct. You're nearly there! Great first effort!

skull I have an old design you can have if your interested you would need to add your navigation. It is coded with a the psd was for an old site I has when stumbles were all the rave. I set it up here if you can use it you can have it

Yeah, it looks good. I suppose you aren't directly targetting the proxy crowd, so it's fine. The grey ring around the sign up button doesn't make much sense.

Its a Free CSS Template by styleshout , yep its also been used on PHProxy, but its a sweet Template i think.

Ya i don't know why i got that border around the image, i will work on getting rid of that when i get time i have a feeling its to do with the PSD its self.

It's not the PSD. You've used an <a href> tag so by default the border=1.

Just add a border=0 to the line where you call signup.gif:

<a href='/mybb/create/'><img src='signup.gif'></a>

You are also missing a > in that statement. I've bolded the location of the missing > in the statement above.

P.P.S. You forgot the ">" after your <img> tag -- if you wish you to use valid XHTML, I might add that you forgot the trailing slash/space as well.

No problems thought I would try. Had the psd so color changes would have been a piece of cake. Will release as a proxy theme.
