Please do let me know what do u feel about the following

#1 Colors
#2 Ad placements
#3 Sidebar content

Please do let me know if u think of something else that i am missing there.

I'm not much into sports, but it seems to me that a sports blog should have a lot more graphics.

Do those colors say "sports" or "cricket" to you? It seems like bold colors would be more appropriate?

468x60 is usually a very poorly performing ad size. The rectangles seem to perform the best.
