Thread: Poll For ProxLists

Instead of bumping my other thread, and nobody would see what I was asking, I think it's better to just create this minor thread and see what people think about this...

Currently, at ProxLists.com the top 3 are RED links, and 4-25 are GREEN.

But my best e-mate told me, it's look like the top 3 look defunct, because they are in red, and the others are green because they work...

And I think that's a pretty interesting thingie he said.. how do you guys think about this? Is it really like that or not?

I might consider changing it... but if I change it, what colors for:
1-3
4-25

I agree, red does look like a dead link, I'd go for yellow instead, then sell it as your gold class link

It's currently yellow, but I think of changing green & red.. so green at the top and yellow beneath it

The best solution IMO is green at the top, and then yellow and then some other lively color like pink

Yellow

Red didn't do that bad btw.. but yeah, if it's better now, it's better in total

In general i don't hurry to click red links, in most situations for me red means "stop".

Most people who use lists will realize that they are there for promotion, and why would there be a lot of defunct proxies at the top of the list.
I don't think many people will not click on them because they are red.

For me, colors on list site is something to attract people. Well, if you have 1000 sites on the list and only 1 have colors then for sure people will be attracted to that link but in this case, there is several categories. Each categories has their own colors. The nature of human will attract to vibrant colors so the top or the most premium links should have vibrant colors.
